Candied Orange Peel

Add a burst of sweet, citrusy orange!

Lightly sweetened and made from real fruit, our candied orange peel adds a subtle essence of citrus to fruit cake, stollen, panettone, and other holiday sweet treats. Pieces soften while baking, perfuming your baked goods with luscious orange flavor. For even softer pieces, cover with rum, brandy, apple juice, or cranberry juice and soak overnight. Or if you’re in a hurry, microwave the fruit and liquid for 1 minute, until steaming, cover, and let rest 1 hour.  Add to batter with other add-ins either drained or with liquid, according to your recipe.
